"Hi, every-pawdy!
My name is BUFFY (the team calls me Queen Buffy, Buffster, The Slayer, Squishers, Chucnky-Monkey, etc) and I am a 6-year old gal who came to the PDC a couple of weeks ago via the Kentucky Humane Society.
I was brought to the shelter back in mid-August when my family had to move into an apartment that was less expensive and wouldn't allow pets. I was really sad, but these things happen, I guess.
I was REALLY STRESSED OUT at the shelter, so KHS asked the cool cats at Purrfect Day Cat Cafe Louisville if I could stay with them. I have a little loft apartment and people come and visit me, but it's not the same as having my furrever home.
I DO have some requirements for my new home:
1. ABSOLUTELY NO DOGS. I was attacked by a dog when I was younger and I am TERRIFIED of them.
2. I would, since I am a queen and all, PREFER to be the only cat in the house. I could POSSIBLY deal with a disinterested cat as a roomie, but the best thing would be for me to only have HUMAN bunkmates.
3. Kids are cool as long as they're nice to me.
Oh--and my PDC pals want me to let you know that I have been spayed (not sure what that is, but it's important), micro-chipped, and up-to-date on my vaccinations! So, come see me, take me home with you, and I promise to be the QUEEN OF YOUR HEART!"

#8,568 and #8,569 are Barrel and Bin, who were abandoned on the KHS property. Their sibling was adopted yesterday and these little guys went home together!
Adoption #8,567 is sweet Rhiann, soon to be named NADJA, after one our favorite characters in "What We Do in the Shadows!"
Adoption #8,566 is sweet Luna! Her new mom is one of our PDC volunteers and owns her own pet care visit, @themetropet.
